Our correspondence goes nowhere for a number of months. After a while I start getting soft inside all over again in my messages to her.
I send her a birthday card and a gift. It was nice to go out and look around for materials with all the right colours, come up with the creative ideas and sit down painstakingly drawing the card which no shop in the world can duplicate.
