The e-mail messages inside are real and not imagined. Some were erased unintentionally. Most of them were saved. They were printed to keep as a reminder of something precious and beautiful. Whether Emi did the same I do not know.
Note
The author is the owner of the copyright of the letter. This right may only be waived by written permission. The actual phsical letter may be sold, but this does not give the owner of the letter the right to reproduce the letter. The author can veto publication on grounds of infringing copyright and of breach of confidence.
The duration of the copyright is for a period of 70 years in the USA and 50 years in Europe and Australasia from the author's death. There are numerous technical exceptions to all the general principles. It is no doubt best to abide by an emotional principle: would the publication of this letter hurt anyone?
ooOoo
Emi's full name and e-mail address on the messages have been removed from this book.
